What a privilege it is to announce the arrival of Angus Harrison Cam Barr, born 3:30 this afternoon, as I was writing the last post. The birth went well, although Angus will spend the night in the special care nursery after experiencing a small lung tear in his first breath. We are all so proud of our sister Rach and Michael for their part in bringing this treasure into the world.

Dear Cam and Elizabeth
Congratulations on becoming aunt and uncle! I’m sure that Angus will be fine. While the Browns have been trying for years to catch up with the Shiners/Lindsells production line success, I now believe that the Harrises/Barrs/Bains will not be far behind. Adam & Narelle and Dj & Conor had better start trying a bit harder to at least be in the running. Go Browns!

Procreation issues aside, we are so relieved that you came through OK Cam. I was quite excited to hear that you didn’t get sores in your mouth and that your gut behaved itself. Why you may ask? Well, I specifically fasted and prayed for a day just for that. I also prayed that you wouldn’t get an infection from your normal flora, which Elizabeth said was quite common. I feel though that I have let you down. I should have prayed against legionaires disease as that is what just about killed you in the end. If there is a next time, I will cover all basis and pray against legionaires disease, malaria, leprosy, gangrene, flesh-eating viral infections, the hospital burning down, a bus running you over while hooked up to the IV and terrorist attacks. Oh yes, and I’ll pray against mouth ulcers too.

Take care the both of you. You do have some thinking to do about the future. It sounds like a hard choice to make.

Much love, James, Elise & Naomi

Isn’t God good. Timing is always just right. Think you will make a fantastic uncle as you did a teacher. Great to hear things are happening as they ought to, hope you will continue to improve.
Love & God Bless

Congratulations to you all, what lovely news.We have been following your progress Cam and we are so glad we can stop holding our collective breath, crossing our collective everythings ,it became quite difficult to function after the first few days !! The bowling ball look is very fetching so no worries there;anyway Elizabeth has more than enough beauty to tide you over for a bit !.If Jordon and Harry’s experience of you and their strong recommendation of your character and performance as an all round good egg ;can be taken into account (along with their Mum’s observationand complete agreement.) ;we all think you would make a superb Dad . Elizabeth exudes such kindness and love ,a wonderful Mum . You both have shown great presence of mind ,forthought and very good decision making skills at the seeking out and I do stage ,all the ground works done so whenever the gorgeous one/s arrive you will all be amazing together. We as always send you our love , strength and prayers ,you are all in our thoughts every day.We will also definately catch up with you before and several times after we go to Tasmania.Know anyone who wants to live in a semi rural palace do you;we,ve two next door to each other in Sherwood !! Take care of each other, congrats and love once again to all of the family ,we hope you thoroughly enjoy the celebrations xxx

Thanks, Cam, for the announcement, I can hear the pride in your voice and although we’ve never met, I can tell you’re going to be an excellent uncle.

Hello Mr Harris!
Layla here (yr 7, 2004 – incase you’ve forgotten me- but I am pretty annoying so could be tough to erase me from your memory!) currently Jacqui and I are sitting in Yr 11 english and you’ll never believe who our teacher is….*drum role* Mr Marlow!! Imagine that!! Still stuck with MCC teachers! Well because we are indeed old MCC students he lets us do pretty much whatever we want in english. Its pretty cool. :D Well lately Jacqui and I have been thinking (yes, scary) about you (even scarier). We really loved having you as a teacher and you’ve impacted our lives more than you know. We’d really like to catch up with you sometime coz we miss you (but not in a freaky, stalker way *shifty eyes* o_O).

All the Best
Layla…and Jacqui…but mainly Layla :D
P.s we’ve both left you comments just so you have to reply to one of us!!
